QUALIFICATIONS

Louis Lipinski is a vocational consultant in private practice in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Mr. Lipinski owns and operates Lipinski and Associates LLC. Mr. Lipinski provides services to attorneys, insurance companies, self-insured entities, government agencies, hospitals, and private individuals. Services are provided in the areas of vocational assessment, vocational planning, vocational counseling, job seeking skills training, labor market surveys, job placement, litigation preparation, expert testimony, and Americans with Disabilities Act consultation.

Mr. Lipinski has been a featured speaker at continuing legal education seminars on topics including the role of vocational rehabilitation in Worker’s Compensation, the role of the vocational expert in personal injury litigation, and the impact of the Americans with Disabilities Act on the marketplace.

Mr. Lipinski holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Bethany College in Bethany, West Virginia, a master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette, Louisiana and has been a doctoral candidate in School Psychology at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.

Mr. Lipinski is certified by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification as a Certified Vocational Counselor. He is licensed by the State of Louisiana as a Professional Rehabilitation Counselor.

Mr. Lipinski was chosen from over 1900 Certified Life Care Planners and Canadian Certified Life Care Planners to serve on the prestigious board. (International Commission on Health Care Certification) Mr. Lipinski was chosen for his wisdom, intelligence, educational level, insight, business experience, fairness, as well as his knowledge of the field of life care planning. Mr. Lipinski attends a minimum of 6 board meetings per year and acts in an advisory role to the ICHCC. Mr. Lipinski in 2022 entered into the peer review process with the American Board of Vocational Experts and has been granted the International Psychometric Evaluation Certification (IPEC). An applicant for the International Psychometric Evaluation Certification (IPEC) shall hold a Master’s or Doctorate degree in Psychology (M.A., M.S., M.Ed.), School Psychology, Rehabilitation, Social Work, Therapy/Family Therapy/Counseling, Education, or other Health Related Field from an accredited institution. Applicant will have documented specific education courses and equivalents such as Tests & Measurements, Ethics, Assessment/Evaluation, Descriptive Statistics, Inferential Statistics, Multicultural/Ethnic Perspectives, Specialized Psychometric Training and Theories. Applicant will have specific experience in testing domains recognized in the Psychometric Industry such as Academic, Achievement, Personality/Behavioral Health, Intelligence/Cognitive/Career/Vocational, Neuropsychology, Forensic, Speech Language, Work Evaluation/Work Capacity, Pain/Medical and Research. This level of membership in ABVE shall require demonstrated testing experience.

Mr. Lipinski once awarded the IPEC applied with the American Rehabilitation Economics Association for Professional Membership and the Forensic Vocational Expert (FVE) designation.

The Registered Forensic Vocational Expert (FVE) process places the burden of proof on the applicant to demonstrate that you have testified at least twice in judicial or administrative proceedings. You must submit (2) two letters of recommendation from attorneys or judges asserting your vocational testimony was competent; official transcripts of your related Master’s or Doctoral degree; two (2) forensic work products, each with pre-injury and post-injury scenarios and values; and at least one (1) vocational certification. The FVE‘22 designation was granted in May 2022.

Mr. Lipinski has qualified as an Expert in the field of Vocational Rehabilitation in courtrooms throughout the States of Louisiana, Florida, Mississippi, and Texas, over the course of his 30+ years in the field.
